Urgent Care
Every day we reserve a full day's worth of appointments for acute sick visits for issues such as infections, injuries, asthma flares, and other short-term conditions that we previously saw during walk-in. Please call as early as possible during the day if you would like to schedule a same-day sick appointment. We can also provide at-home nursing advice if appropriate. Visits for complex care are scheduled as consultations with more time blocked to address needs.

Driving Directions
From Interstate 40 (E or W):
Exit #270. Head South on Hwy 15-501 through Chapel Hill. After roughly 7 miles, exit for Hwy 15-501 South towards Pittsboro. At the light at top of exit, turn left. Go through 3 more stoplights. At the 4th stoplight, turn right onto Market Street in Southern Village. The clinic will be the first building you see at the top of the small hill. Yield onto roundabout, left at stop sign, left into our parking lot.
From Durham:
15-501 South towards Chapel Hill. After crossing over Interstate 40, continue on 15-501 for approximately 7 miles. Exit for Hwy 15-501 South towards Pittsboro. At the light at top of exit, turn left. Go through 3 more stoplights. At the 4th stoplight, turn right onto Market Street in Southern Village. The clinic will be the first building you see at the top of the small hill. Yield onto roundabout, left at stop sign, left into our parking lot.
From Hillsborough:
Follow directions for Interstate 40 above. OR Take NC 86 to Chapel Hill (becomes MLK Blvd), continuing through downtown Chapel Hill. Right onto W Cameron St. (at Carolina Inn), quick left onto Pittsboro St. Bear right onto S Columbia/Hwy 86. At bridge, name changes to Hwy 15-501 S. Go through 3 more stoplights. At the 4th stoplight, turn right onto Market Street in Southern Village. The clinic will be the first building you see at the top of the small hill. Yield onto roundabout, left at stop sign, left into our parking lot.
From Pittsboro:
15-501 North towards Chapel Hill. Left at Market Street in Southern Village. The clinic will be the first building you see at the top of the small hill. Yield onto roundabout, left at stop sign, left into our parking lot.

You may have heard news about rising numbers of measles cases in Texas and other areas of the United States. 2 doses of the MMR vaccine are highly effective (97%) at preventing measles infections. At CHCAC, children receive their first dose at age 1 and a second dose at age 4, to make sure kids are fully protected as soon as possible, and following the recommendations from the CDC. Some infants aged 6 months to 11 months who travel internationally to high-prevlance areas may need a dose to protect them, but they still need the 1 year and 4 year old doses as well. If you are ever concerned about a possible exposure to measles, please CALL before entering our office. DO NOT ENTER the office. This is a highly contagious illness and special precautions must be taken to prevent spread.
